The Madames are working on some fun ideas for the Spring Madames' Tea under the coordination of Janine McCluskey (mccluskey@sbcglobal.net).

We're also working on morning coffee at Coopers' site and hot dog support if needed. More to come next month.
Meantime, here's some info on Troop Support since there have been several requests that family members serving in the military be remembered, if only in MVCC's thoughts and prayers, as they serve our country:

NEUENBURG: Nephew Brad Neuenburg (John's brother's son) is in the Marines and is in Afganistan. It would be great if the Madames/MVCCers could send a note of thanks and support, and perhaps a small care package. Brad has been training in Logistic using mules to bring supplies into the war zone. Please keep him in your prayers as he fights for our freedom. Brad's Address is:

HAIK: The two sons of Mitchell and Tirza Haik, Nik and Alex, are both in the National Guard. Alex is home with his family, just putting in his drill weekends, and summer duty (2 weeks). He and Nik are actually assigned to the same unit, and he missed being deployed with them, so he is still home.
Nikolas, however, is still in Iraq, but he anticipates getting home in February, so he said he does not need any more boxes sent. Less stuff to bring home, he says. Thanks to all of the madames who have sent Nik goodies. He does appreciate it a lot!! (per Mom,Tirzah)Please keep both in your prayers.


(Major) Cary Simpson's 45th APS Guard unit has again deployed from Travis AFB. This time to Kandahar, Afghanistan and Al Udeid,Qatar. Their "Family Readiness" will let the Madames know what support we can do for the deployed Teams, their families, the kids,
"Our second large group leaves this afternoon and should be in place a week from now. We have another 9 personnel deploying at the end of the month. It is OK to let the Madams know the names and contact information if you feel comfortable Lori! The Madams are part of the 45 APS FRG!!!
